KREMLIN KORPS - Moscow´s Revenge 7" EP reissue is out!

KREMLIN KORPS were a short lived Philadelphia band that played with a lot of hc/punk legends (Scream, UK Subs, Toxic Reasons, Subhumans, Crucifix, Government Issue, TSOL, Agnostic Front, No Trend, DRI, White Cross, Adrenalin OD, Corrosion Of Conformity, Jerry´s Kids, Iron Cross, Heart Attack,..) and left us a 4 song 7"EP legacy.

At a time when female-fronted hardcore bands were nearly unheard of, Stacey’s powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence set them apart. But it was the band’s name—Kremlin Korps—that really stirred the pot. With Cold War paranoia in full swing and Reagan’s America in a flag-waving frenzy, the name alone was enough to get them labeled “commie pinko faggots” by some regional critics. The band wore the insult like a badge of honor, doubling down with their 1984 EP Moscow’s Revenge, a middle finger to the era’s chest-thumping nationalism.

The reissue comes in a revamped foldout cover with band biography, photos, lyrics and flyers. 400 copies on black vinyl, 100 on turquoise. You can order a copy here:

PROCES / STENGTE DORER - Splitt EP out on No Plan Records!

On the 40th anniversary of this release, No Plan is presenting Proces / Stengte Dører - Splitt EP!!

Two bands, two countries, two languages, one record. Released in 1985 on X-Port Platter (Norway) this split 7" was the first vinyl release for both bands.

Proces was a punk band from Subotica, Yugoslavia, active since 1979. That summer they recorded a handful of songs at Borut Cinc studio in Ljubljana and 3 songs ended up on side A of this split. The only truly independent punk/hc release of a Yugoslavian band before that was Corpus Delicti 7" EP by UBR from Ljubljana that came out a year before, so this 7" counts as the second independent vinyl release of a Yugoslavian punk/hc band ever! 3 songs of political punk from one of the strongest punk scenes in Yugoslavia at that time. Their friend Septic (RIP) drew the cover and some of the drawings inside.

Stengte Dører came from Oslo with a rich hc/punk pedigree, having band members that came from bands like Anfall, Bannlyst, Svart Framtid, Psykisk Terror, and others. They, on the other hand, formed not too long before this 7", but offer 4 songs of supreme musicianship on this slab of vinyl. Their quick, angry, aggressive and unpolished hc/punk gained them many fans with this release. Although their songs are sang in their native Norwegian, no fear because the insert with English translation comes with each copy of the record. To top this off, besides the 6-fold cover and the insert that are both faithful reproduction of the original, the 7" comes with an extra sticker.

500 copies on black vinyl, 100 copies on transparent. You can order them here:

The holy grail for collectors of Swedish punk out now on No Plan records. TST - Vås Punx 7"!

For many, this is the holy grail of Swedish punk. Considering that the original sells for over 1,000 euros, it´s no wonder why.

TST was an early punk band from Vasteras, an hour west of Stockholm, that played tuneful and somewhat anthemic punk rock. This was their debut 7", released in 1981, containing 4 songs. The band will go on having a really long life, though their most productive period was in the first half of the 80s.

The original 7" was pressed in 300 copies, didn´t have any inserts and you never see it in the wild nowadays. This reissue comes with a 4 page insert that contains all the lyrics, photos, gig flyers and an essay about the band.

300 copies on black and 100 on red. Almost all of these got sold out in the preorders. Repress to follow soon with 300 on black and 100 on transparent. You can order your copy here:

Here´s a song from their debut 7" Vås Punx:

Atlanta, Georgia´s own D.D.T. are reissuing their Brave New World 7" from 1983 on No Plan records!

DDT was probably the earliest HC/punk band in Atlanta, Georgia. Nobody was playing hardcore down there before DDT showed up on the scene. A year or two later another band showed up (Neon Christ) and the two bands played many times together. The band had in its lineup Rik Barr formerly of THE STATE from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and  Greg Psomas of the legendary New York City punk band Ism.

This is their self produced 7" from 1983. You don´t see this one in the wild, but if you did it would cost you a lot of money. 5 songs here. From the ultra melodic Mr. Roger´s Neighborhood, to quick hardcore burst like Girls, Girls, Girls and Brave New World, to post punkish/no waveish I´m Walking The Psychopath and The End that brings in mind bands like Flipper, No Trend or Tuxedomoon.

Great 7". The reissue comes with a 6 page insert with lyrics, band history, photos and flyers. 400 copies on black vinyl and a limited edition of 100 on gold! You can buy your copy here:

A.O.A. - Satisfactory Arrangement LP out on NO PLAN Records!!

AOA debuted on vinyl with Who Are They Trying To Con? 12" in 1985. A year later they returned with the split LP with fellow Scots better known as Oi Polloi with an album called Unlimited Genocide. The trilogy of albums is closed with Satisfactory Arrangement that was recorded in 1986 and 1987 and finally released in 1988.

This is relentless anarcho punk/hardcore with a message. It runs at 200 mph and takes no prisoners. Their nickname ´the Scottish Discharge´ probably tells you everything about the ferocity of their music. Lyrically, AOA blast at everyone, from big corporations, to animal testing laboratories, to capitalism, to the situation in Northern Ireland, to police brutality and more.

The reissue of this 80s classic comes completely remastered on 180 gr vinyl in gatefold sleeve containing all the lyrics, plus a download code. There are 700 copies on black vinyl and 100 on red vinyl. You can order your copy here:

Announcing SCHMIDTHEADS - retrospective LP!!

This mysterious band that existed between 1986 and 1989 in Arcata, California, never released anything on vinyl. There were plans, and the band went down to Los Angeles to record two songs, but soon afterwards they broke up and the vinyl record never happened. Some people remember Schmidtheads from Aaron Cometbus´ compilation  Best We Regret, which put together on one tape 33 Northern California bands with unreleased recordings ranging from 1981 till 1988.

Schmidtheads named themselves after a beer company, because they used to drink exclusively Schmidt beer. They played a lot, mostly locally, besides their infamous "LA or bust" Tour. They played with Operation Ivy, Crimpshrine, Mr. Bungle, Problem Children, Blatz, Isocracy, Brent´s TV, Neer Do Wells, Lethal Gospel, One Man Running, Nuisance and many others. This is a song from their upcoming retrospective LP album out on No Plan records very very soon:

News!! News!! News!! Breeders - Zen Punk 7"EP just out!

This is the original Breeders, formed in Champaign, IL, in the early-eighties. They released a 7" EP titled "Zen Punk" and an eight song cassette titled "Things Happen". This is a little hidden gem of Midwestern punk. Three songs, remastered for the occasion. A side is an elaborate song between Punk Rock and No Wave, that brings in mind bands like Gang of Four, Contortions, Wire,... On the flip side, two miniatures on the verge of hardcore. Think early Husker Du, Minor Threat and White Cross. Comes with the original artwork and a sticker!

You can listen to one of the songs here:

400 copies on black vinyl and 50 on green (with some on swirled green).
They can be ordered from Goodwill records

REJECTORS - Thoughts Of War 7"EP is out now!

Seminal hardcore punk from Seattle, Washington, active approx. 1981-1986. The Rejectors released a 9 song 7" called "Thoughts Of War" on Fartz records in '82. Less sludgy than some of their Seattle punk peers, instead providing quick-paced west coast style thrashers with snotty teenage vocals and earnest, often politically-minded lyrics. Remastered for the occasion, the 7" comes with the original 7" artwork and insert, plus a sticker!

You can listen to some of the tracks from the 7" below:

There are 50 copies on magenta (with about 10 on swirled magenta vinyl) and 400 on black. You can order your copy at www.goodwillrecords.net

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE - The Uninvited / Ritual / The Men - 7"EP is being released today!!!

Formed in 1978 in London, Lack Of Knowledge was a band you could hardly pigeonhole and lump with a certain scene. They shared bills with punk rock bands, anarcho punk bands, post-punk bands,... Their quirkiness might remind you of Wire or Television Personalities perhaps. This is their very first single, the one that got them on Crass records, originally self-released and packed in A4 comic bags.

This reissue adds the original B side which was never released on vinyl, but scratched in the early stages for another song. Packed in a tri-fold cover, this is a very limited reissue of 100 copies on clear vinyl, 100 on white and 100 on black, all hand numbered and stamped.

Below you can check the title track:

All three versions can be ordered from www.goodwillrecords.net while supply lasts.

JERRY´S KIDZ - Well Fed Society 7"EP out now!!!

Mid 80s was a very exciting time for the US hardcore. Following in the footsteps of Minor Threat, Necros, 7 Seconds, MDC, Zero Boys,... hundreds of Hardcore Punk bands sprawled all over the US. Every city had a scene, or at least a band you could identify that city with. Phoenix had JFA, Boise had Septic Death, Tulsa had NOTA, Raleigh had Corrosion Of Conformity, Dayton had Toxic Reasons,... In Albuquerque, New Mexico there were Jerry´s Kidz.

This skate punk band played so fast, as if their lives depended on it!

Well Fed Society is a 5 song banger that packs a punch and travels at 100 mph, slowing down just enough to be able to attack you again with a new barrage. Musically, this would be down the alley for fans of Minor Threat, Stalag 13, Zero Boys, Circle Jerks,... It´s fast but melodic, well written and even better played. This truly is a mid 80s US hardcore classic!

You can preorder black or red vinyl here:

POLITICAL ASYLUM - "Fresh Hate" 1983 demo now available on vinyl!

Political Asylum from Stirling, Scotland started out in 1982. After just a handful of shows, in 1983 they entered a studio to record 14 songs for their first demo. Some of these songs, like Winter Of Our Discontent, System Of War and Do They Care, got rerecorded and released on their first 7" Winter (1985). Disarm Or Die was included on Window On The World LP (1990). The rest of the songs never ended up on vinyl, until now.

This is their earliest studio material when they were still a trio. It´s rough, sincere and full of youthful energy, since everyone in the band was still a teenager back in the day. Taken from the original tapes courtesy of Steve Brown and remastered for vinyl. Almost 50 minutes music, including some of their very favourites.

Political Asylum was part of the burgeoning Anarcho Punk scene of the early 80s, but musically forged their own identity with very melodic style, intricate guitar work and tuneful singing. In the sea of black leather jackets and grim visions of the future, Political Asylum brought both melody and melancholy into the scene, while their lyrics took a distinct anti military stance and disassociated from the mainstream political thought of the time. The band would carry on well into the 90s, but that´s story for another release.

The record comes in a double sided printed cover with a full-sized 4 page insert with lyrics, photos and flyers, plus a postcard. Available on black vinyl and limited red vinyl from www.goodwillrecords.net

UPSIDE - s/t LP just out on No Plan Records!

Upside is a legendary hardcore/punk band from Sassuolo near Modena (Italy) that started in early 80s and is still performing to this day. They were part of the scene that gave us bands like Stigmathe, Raw Power, Nabat, Dioxina, Cani, No Jap, Hydra, Stalag 17, RAF Punk,... In 1983 they debuted on vinyl with Nati Per Soffrire 7" but even before that they recorded the first demo tape with great songs that never came out elsewhere. Political punk verging on hardcore tinged with dark overtones, both musically and lyrically. Very critical, almost apocalyptic lyrics about the society. Their music influences seem to merge early UK 82 stuff with Italian HC/Punk of the time as well as 80s Finnish HC, although not as fast as most of their Scandinavian counterparts. If you liked the recent Link Lärm LP on No Plan records, this could be something for you as well.

This LP gathers 10 songs (plus a hidden track) from the 1981 demo, remastered, for the first time on vinyl.  Comes with a foldout 12" insert with band photos, lyrics, flyers and band´s history in a deluxe 350 gr laminated cover printed on both sides.
