PROCES / STENGTE DORER - Splitt EP out on No Plan Records!

On the 40th anniversary of this release, No Plan is presenting Proces / Stengte Dører - Splitt EP!!

Two bands, two countries, two languages, one record. Released in 1985 on X-Port Platter (Norway) this split 7" was the first vinyl release for both bands.

Proces was a punk band from Subotica, Yugoslavia, active since 1979. That summer they recorded a handful of songs at Borut Cinc studio in Ljubljana and 3 songs ended up on side A of this split. The only truly independent punk/hc release of a Yugoslavian band before that was Corpus Delicti 7" EP by UBR from Ljubljana that came out a year before, so this 7" counts as the second independent vinyl release of a Yugoslavian punk/hc band ever! 3 songs of political punk from one of the strongest punk scenes in Yugoslavia at that time. Their friend Septic (RIP) drew the cover and some of the drawings inside.

Stengte Dører came from Oslo with a rich hc/punk pedigree, having band members that came from bands like Anfall, Bannlyst, Svart Framtid, Psykisk Terror, and others. They, on the other hand, formed not too long before this 7", but offer 4 songs of supreme musicianship on this slab of vinyl. Their quick, angry, aggressive and unpolished hc/punk gained them many fans with this release. Although their songs are sang in their native Norwegian, no fear because the insert with English translation comes with each copy of the record. To top this off, besides the 6-fold cover and the insert that are both faithful reproduction of the original, the 7" comes with an extra sticker.

500 copies on black vinyl, 100 copies on transparent. You can order them here:
