Atlanta, Georgia´s own D.D.T. are reissuing their Brave New World 7" from 1983 on No Plan records!

DDT was probably the earliest HC/punk band in Atlanta, Georgia. Nobody was playing hardcore down there before DDT showed up on the scene. A year or two later another band showed up (Neon Christ) and the two bands played many times together. The band had in its lineup Rik Barr formerly of THE STATE from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and  Greg Psomas of the legendary New York City punk band Ism.

This is their self produced 7" from 1983. You don´t see this one in the wild, but if you did it would cost you a lot of money. 5 songs here. From the ultra melodic Mr. Roger´s Neighborhood, to quick hardcore burst like Girls, Girls, Girls and Brave New World, to post punkish/no waveish I´m Walking The Psychopath and The End that brings in mind bands like Flipper, No Trend or Tuxedomoon.

Great 7". The reissue comes with a 6 page insert with lyrics, band history, photos and flyers. 400 copies on black vinyl and a limited edition of 100 on gold! You can buy your copy here:
